Time for the Annual Culpeper Christmas Tree Lighting has come yet again, kind of feels like we were just there, yet another part of me feels like it’s been forever. Last year, Tess was just a month old and wrapped up in the Moby Wrap snug against me (sigh). This year, she was walking all around, trying to keep up with her big sister!
Our friends Doug and Melissa met us there with their kids, we watched the tree being lit up, sang xmas caroles, drank hot apple cider and then let the kids play in the leaves. It was unseasonably warm so it turned out to be a perfect night! A special thanks to my incredible hubby for leaving the redskins game early to come home and get the annual family picture that I hang on the tree every year. This is our fourth year and it has been incredible to watch our family pictures evolve from a tiny little Abble at just 3 months old in the baby bjorn, to a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Crazy how 4 short years can change a family!
